Lori Pomeroy has been an art mentor for Opera By Children UFOMT for seven years, and loves doing things big! She loves working with children and bringing out their endless possibilities. She is also a BTSALP visual art teacher at Sunrise Elementary in Smithfield, Ut. where she has taught for 15 years, after receiving her BFA at Utah State University. Teaching fosters constant learning and growth. Lori serves as a board member of UAEA since 2012, and enjoys collaborating with teachers throughout the state. She has been a Wilton Method cake decorating instructor for 11 years and makes exquisite sugar artistry floral cakes. She painted a beautiful wall mural of the tooth fairy in Smithfield Dental office. Her hobbies include illustration, camping, traveling, sewing, costume design, collecting paper dolls, and ceramics. Her latest craze is ceramic fairy houses!
