Jump Start 2019

As the demographics of Utah have changed, the perspectives and needs of the families we serve have also changed. In the Spring of 2018, a team of family engagement practitioners from the Utah State Board of Education, Granite School District, Salt Lake City School District and University Neighborhood Partners interviewed highly engaged, negatively engaged and apparently unengaged parents, as well as students, administrators, teachers, partners and other stakeholders. Insights from these interviews will be shared along with "next" practices for engaging families in educational settings.
