Closing the Gender Gap and Empowering Utah's Girls

In 1995, women made up almost 40 percent of the computing workforce. Today, women make up less than 25 percent. With the tech industry booming, we have a duty to not only equip our girls with computer science skills but also provide a safe and supportive environment of peers and role models where girls learn to see themselves as computer scientists. Girls Who Code is working to close the gender gap in technology and we are on track to reach gender parity in 2027. In 2018, we launched 106 clubs in Utah and over 6,000 clubs across the U.S. Let’s dive deep into a free and flexible program that features Women in Tech spotlights, impact projects, and 120 tutorials of coding curriculum to choose from. Are you ready to join the movement?
